Cookies

We only use the cookies and browser storage that Remembly needs to work. There are no ads and no third-party analytics tools, so we do not ask for consent in a banner.

1. What cookies are

They are small text files saved in your browser. Thanks to them a site remembers that you are signed in or which language you chose. The browser's local storage (localStorage) does a similar job, and we use it for the same technical purposes.

2. The remembly.me website

The home page, the blog, the pricing page and the FAQ do not save any cookies or local storage data in your browser, with one exception described below. Fonts are delivered with the page, with no calls to external font servers.

Site language: on your first visit we choose the language by the country you connect from (the country is read by the network the site runs on, and we do not store it). When you change the language yourself with the PL/EN switch, we save a remembly-locale cookie with your choice for 365 days, so later visits open in that language. It is necessary for the switch to work and is not used for anything else.

The contact form sends what you type into it (e-mail address, topic, message and an optional file) only to answer your message.

3. The app.remembly.me application

The application saves the following cookies. All of them are first-party (set by our own domain).

  • remembly.session_token: keeps your sign-in session. Necessary, without it you cannot use your account. It expires after 30 days at the latest, or when you sign out.
  • remembly-locale: remembers the interface language you chose. Necessary to show the application in your language.
  • remembly-src: a short label of where you came from on your first visit (for example the name of a page or campaign from the address, or just the domain of the referring page). Set once, valid for 30 days, and saved with your account only after it is created. It contains no full address, path or IP address and is used only for aggregate statistics on where users come from.

4. Browser local storage

The application also saves simple settings in your browser that never leave your device, for example whether sounds in the app are on. They contain no personal data.

5. How to manage cookies

You can delete or block cookies at any time in your browser settings. Blocking the sign-in session will stop you from using your account, and blocking the others will reset the language and settings to their defaults.

If we add cookies in the future that are not necessary (for example analytics), we will ask for your consent before saving them and update this page.

6. Contact

Send questions about cookies and personal data to hello@monetal.agency. More about data is in the Privacy policy.
